La directrice adjointe de "Télé Liban" à propos de l'interdiction des présentatrices voilées à l'écran : "La chaîne n’a jamais, ni historiquement

رداً على مايتم التداول به حول موضوع منع ظهور المذيعات المحجبات على شاشة تلفزيون لبنان، ردت مساعد المدير العام في تلفزيون لبنان، الإعلامية ندى صليبا، بما يلي:

‎“تلفزيون لبنان لا يعتمد تاريخياً وعُرفاً أي إشارات أو شعائر أو رموز دينية لإبرازها على الشاشة من أي نوع كانت، مع احترامه الكامل والتام للأديان السماوية، وهو ينقل على شاشته جميع المناسبات الدينية على اختلافها.

‎وقد التزم جميع مجالس الإدارة السابقين بهذا التوجه، إذ لم يُسمح للمذيعات من الطوائف المسيحية والإسلامية ارتداء أو وضع أي رمز ديني خلال الظهور على الشاشة. كما يتم الاستماع دائماً إلى كل موظف أراد الظهور على الشاشة برمز ديني دون استثناء على الإطلاق.

‎أما الموضوع المُثار اليوم بشأن الحجاب مع إحدى المتعاقدات، فالجدير ذكره انها ليست مراسلة في قسم الأخبار وهي تعمل في قسم السوشيال ميديا وتحديداً في الشريط الإخباري، وقد استُعين بها كمراسلة في فترة الحرب الاسرائيلية على لبنان، وهي تضغط اليوم بالاستقالة حتى يُسمح لها بالظهور على الشاشة. وهذا الأمر ليس وليد الساعة، بل أُثير في عهدٍ سابق وحُسم الأمر بعدم تعديل هذا التوجه.

‎إن أي تغيير في هذه المعايير المعتمدة منذ عقود طويلة، والتي تعود إلى تاريخ انطلاقة هذا التلفزيون، هو من صلاحيات مجلس الإدارة حصراً، والذي يعمل وزير الإعلام الدكتور بول مرقص على تشكيله”.

En réponse aux informations circulant sur l'interdiction d'apparition des présentatrices voilées à l'antenne de Télé Liban, la directrice adjointe, la journaliste Nada Saliba, a déclaré ce qui suit :

"Télé Liban n’a jamais, ni historiquement ni traditionnellement, adopté l'affichage de symboles religieux de quelque nature que ce soit à l'écran, tout en respectant pleinement et totalement les religions monothéistes. La chaîne diffuse également toutes les célébrations religieuses, quelles qu’elles soient.

Tous les conseils d'administration successifs ont respecté cette ligne directrice, interdisant aux présentatrices chrétiennes et musulmanes de porter ou d'afficher tout symbole religieux à l’écran. De plus, chaque employé souhaitant apparaître avec un signe religieux a toujours été écouté, sans aucune exception.

Concernant la controverse actuelle sur le port du voile par l'une des contractuelles, il convient de préciser qu'elle n'est pas journaliste au service des informations, mais qu'elle travaille dans le département des médias sociaux, plus précisément sur le bandeau d’actualité. Elle avait été sollicitée en tant que reporter durant la guerre israélienne contre le Liban. Aujourd’hui, elle exerce une pression en menaçant de démissionner pour obtenir l'autorisation d’apparaître à l'écran. Cette question ne date pas d’aujourd’hui, elle avait déjà été soulevée sous une précédente administration et la décision avait été prise de ne pas modifier cette règle.

Toute modification de ces normes établies depuis plusieurs décennies, qui remontent à la création de cette chaîne, relève exclusivement des prérogatives du conseil d'administration, dont la formation est actuellement en cours sous la supervision du ministre de l'Information, Dr. Paul Morcos."

In response to circulating reports regarding the alleged ban on hijabi presenters appearing on Télé Liban, the Deputy General Manager, journalist Nada Saliba, issued the following statement:

"Télé Liban has never, historically or traditionally, adopted the display of religious symbols of any kind on screen, while maintaining full and absolute respect for monotheistic religions. The channel also broadcasts all religious events, regardless of their affiliation.

All previous boards of directors have adhered to this policy, prohibiting presenters of both Christian and Muslim faiths from wearing or displaying any religious symbols while on air. Moreover, every employee who has wished to appear on screen with a religious symbol has always been heard, without exception.

Regarding the current controversy over the hijab and one of the contractors, it is important to note that she is not a reporter in the news department but works in the social media division, specifically on the news ticker. She was temporarily assigned as a reporter during the Israeli war on Lebanon. Today, she is pressuring management with her resignation to be allowed on screen. This matter is not new; it was previously raised under a former administration, and the decision was made to uphold this policy.

Any change to these long-standing standards, which date back to the establishment of this television network, falls exclusively under the authority of the board of directors, which is currently being formed under the supervision of the Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos."
