Rencontre avec le Ministre de la Santé Publique : La diaspora, toujours présente dans le cœur de la nation

لقاء مع وزير الصحة العامة: الاغتراب حاضر في وجدان الوطن

في ظلّ التحديات المتواصلة التي تعصف بلبنان، زار وفد من الجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم، برئاسة الرئيس العالمي الأستاذ عباس فواز، وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور راكان ناصر الدين، ظهر يوم الثلاثاء 15 نيسان 2025.

اللقاء كان مناسبة لبحث قضايا الاغتراب اللبناني ودوره الريادي، لا سيّما خلال المحن الأخيرة، حيث أثبت المغتربون مرةً بعد مرة أنهم الرئة التي يتنفّس بها الوطن، من خلال مساهماتهم الإنمائية، والخدماتية، وتحويلاتهم المالية التي أبقت ما تبقّى من اقتصاد لبنان حيّاً.

وأشاد معالي الوزير بمبادرة الجامعة في رعاية حفل تكريم "أبطال الحرب الأخيرة" من عناصر الدفاع المدني، والصليب الأحمر، والكوادر الطبية، والمستشفيات، والإعلام الحرّ، الذي أُقيم في كازينو لبنان بتاريخ 14 آذار 2025، معتبراً أن هذا التكريم يعكس روح الوفاء والتقدير للذين وقفوا على خطوط النار الأمامية.

وقد تمّ الاتفاق على إبقاء قنوات التنسيق مفتوحة، والعمل على مشاريع ونشاطات مشتركة تعزّز حضور الاغتراب في قلب القرار الوطني، لا كشريك فقط، بل كعنصر مؤسّس في إعادة بناء الوطن.

وفي ختام اللقاء، عبّر وفد الجامعة عن تقديره لمواقف الوزير، مؤكدين أن الاغتراب اللبناني لن يتوانى عن تقديم كلّ ما يلزم ليرتفع لبنان من تحت الركام، لا بالكلام... بل بالفعل الصادق والانتماء الصلب.

Dans un contexte de défis constants auxquels le Liban est confronté, une délégation de l’Université Libanaise Culturelle dans le Monde (ULCM), présidée par son président mondial M. Abbas Fawaz, a rendu visite au Ministre de la Santé Publique, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, le mardi 15 avril 2025.

Cette rencontre a été l’occasion d’échanger autour des enjeux de la diaspora libanaise et de son rôle fondamental, notamment lors des récentes épreuves traversées par le pays. Les Libanais de l’étranger ont, une fois de plus, prouvé qu’ils sont le souffle vital du Liban, grâce à leurs contributions en matière de développement, de services, et à leurs transferts financiers qui ont maintenu à flot ce qu’il reste de l’économie nationale.

Le ministre a salué l’initiative de l’ULCM pour avoir parrainé la cérémonie de reconnaissance des "héros de la dernière guerre" — les membres de la Défense civile, de la Croix-Rouge, le personnel médical, les hôpitaux et les médias libres — tenue au Casino du Liban le 14 mars 2025. Ce geste, selon lui, est un témoignage de fidélité envers ceux qui ont tenu les premières lignes.

Les deux parties ont convenu de poursuivre la coordination et d’explorer la possibilité de lancer des projets communs, afin que la diaspora puisse jouer un rôle central dans la reconstruction nationale — non pas comme simple soutien, mais comme pilier fondamental.

En conclusion, la délégation a exprimé sa reconnaissance aux positions du ministre, réaffirmant que la diaspora libanaise est prête à faire tout ce qui est nécessaire pour que le Liban se relève de ses ruines — non par de simples paroles, mais par l’action, la fidélité, et l’engagement inébranlable.

In the face of ongoing challenges confronting Lebanon, a delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU), led by its World President Mr. Abbas Fawaz, visited the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the issues of the Lebanese diaspora and its pivotal role—especially during the recent turmoil that shook the country. Once again, the diaspora proved to be the breath keeping Lebanon alive, thanks to their developmental and service contributions, and their vital financial remittances that sustained what remains of the national economy.

The Minister expressed his appreciation for the Union’s sponsorship of the tribute ceremony for the "Heroes of the Last War"—members of the Civil Defense, Red Cross, medical staff, hospitals, and free press—held at Casino du Liban on March 14, 2025. He regarded the gesture as a profound expression of loyalty toward those who stood on the front lines.

Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing coordination and explore the possibility of launching joint initiatives in which the diaspora would not just participate, but play a leading and foundational role.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation thanked the Minister for his supportive stance, affirming that the Lebanese diaspora is ready to do whatever it takes to lift Lebanon from the rubble—not through words alone, but through genuine action and unwavering commitment.
